4th. Place: James Smith 1984 Yamaha 185, 226 mpg. On the road qualifier the previous day, James got 272 mpg. Smith dramatically cleaned this machine up for the 1985 competition, running as #7 | |||||||||||||||||
The top finishers are using engines that put out between 12-17 hp. All are streamlined. It is nice to see some consistency in the two event mileage. | |||||||||||||||||
